HR policies and procedures

We provide complete HR policies and procedures; we update the policies when there are changes in employment legislation and supply proforma documents to assist in the implementation of the policies and procedures. We will also evaluate and update your current procedures.  We provide training to managers and staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

The Basic Conditions of Employment Act requires specific documents to be kept by the employer for every employee, we do an audit of staff files and assist in assuring compliance with the act.

EE plans and reports

Compliance with the Employment Equity act is not a compulsory requirement for employers with more than 50 employees, and smaller employers with turnover over the threshold for their industries. Labore is experienced in ensuring compliance.

Drafting employment contracts

There are various employment contracts available, including but not limited to Fixed Term Contracts, Project Duration Contracts, and permanent employment contracts, with or without confidentiality agreements and Job descriptions.

Skills development plans and reports at various SETA’s

Employers are paying a skills development levy of 1% of the payroll to the various SETA’s, we assist in recovering up to 75% of that amount by registering with the relevant SETA, submitting Workplace Skills Development Plans and doing the annual reports.
